Paul Kelly Marketing: Innovative and informative
Paul Kelly has established a rather unique niche market on the Sunshine Coast, specialising in only brand new homes and vacant land on which to build a brand new residence. He has formed a very successful working relationship with numerous local builders who appreciate him specialising in just their “spec” homes.
Paul has a building trade, sales and marketing background and has only sold brand new homes in the 26 years he has been in Australia. Born near London in the United Kingdom many years ago and having spent 14 years across the “ditch” in New Zealand before coming to Australia he has gained a wealth of experience in the building trade, himself a “hands on builder”, sales and marketing.
Based in Kawana, Paul specialises in the southern end of the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra up to Mountain Creek, just north of Kawana Island and inland to Beerwah and Landsborough, but more recently has become very much involved in the extremely popular Bells Reach development in Caloundra.
The Sunshine Coast stretches from Caloundra in the south to Noosa in the north and is experiencing rapid growth with the current population expected to double within the next twenty years, huge infrastructure is now being undertaken to cope with the expected population increase, major road works are being constructed, industry is rapidly expanding creating additional employment. The new $2.2 billion Sunshine Coast University Hospital is now under construction, adjacent to the recently opened Sunshine Coast Private Hospital on a 20 hectare site south of Lake Kawana Boulevard on the Kawana Way. Additional on site developments will include a health related innovation park for private and non-government sectors, an academic and research centre and several diversifying businesses from florists to pharmacists providing the largest health campus in the Southern Hemispere.
The Sunshine Coast has an ideal temperature all year round, boasts beautiful long sandy beaches, caters for countless sports and recreational activities, renown for its fine restaurants, large shopping centres and numerous tourist attractions, just one hour’s drive north of Brisbane, little wonder the desire to live there is so phenomenal.
As the population increases so does the demand for housing, numerous award winning builders work on the Sunshine Coast and the standard of building is very high. Houses are designed to compliment the climate and Sunshine Coast lifestyle.
In order to keep housing affordable, local councils have worked with developers to introduce smaller size blocks of land, yet still able to build a 4 bedroom, ensuite, double garage family size homes upon them. Larger blocks are of course available as are lakeside and ocean accessible canal blocks and houses to suit.
Paul has just completed a very successful number of years selling brand new houses at Brightwater in Mountain Creek and at Bellvista in Caloundra, both fully planned communities with beautifully detailed streetscapes, both with large central lakes and home to numerous species of wild life with linked hike and bike trails, both developed and marketed by Stocklands, the Sunshine Coast’s largest land developer.
Paul has recently moved to Bells Reach, Caloundra West, a brand new residential community again being developed by Stockland, to market and sell brand new homes on behalf of the local builders.
Bells Reach will feature 760 brand new homes, housing approximately 1700 residents. The development will include 21 hectares of natural open space, landscaped areas, public parks and bushland. Adjoining the massive Caloundra South development project which includes over 2,000 hectares and will be home to over 50,000 residents in its 40 year duration with construction commencing in 2016. Bells Reach was launched in January 2012 and has proved immensely popular with its diversity of housing options and its innovative recreational facilities. Positioned in the midst of the Bells Reach community is the award winning Blue Park and Adventure playground. The state-of-the-art playground is the ultimate in outdoor fun with a myriad of multi-surface climbing nets and walls to challenge and stimulate children of all ages. For the older children and active adults, there is a bocce yard, a handball court and even a table tennis table. The recently opened Pod Café is located on the edge of the adventure playground and is a central meeting place for residents, local business people and visitors to Bells Reach to enjoy a coffee and a variety of cakes, snacks and sandwiches.
Bells reach is ideally located, within easy reach of the Central Business Districts of Kawana and Caloundra, just a few minutes to the beautiful Kings, Moffat, Shelley, Bulcock and Golden beaches. Educational facilities on its doorstep (Unity College), all sporting codes are allocated for nearby. 20 minutes will get you to the tourist resorts of Mooloolaba and Maroochydore and a further 5 minutes will take you to the village like atmosphere of Buderim. The Bruce Highway is accessible within minutes and you can be in Brisbane within the hour.
Paul collates detailed information on each house he markets as it commences construction and forwards it on to his website and brochures. This method sees many builders houses sold before completion and quite often enables the purchaser to have an input into materials, appliances and colour schemes. Once houses are completed and for sale Paul works from them, opening them on a daily basis for inspection so as to give them maximum exposure benefiting both builder and purchaser. Paul can easily be found, whichever house he is at by following the Paul Kelly Marketing directional signs to the open house he is working from. You will find Paul very pleasant to talk to, polite, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, if you are looking for a brand new house on the Sunshine Coast Paul Kelly is the first person to talk to.
